Nestled in the charming village of Cilgerran and just a stones’ throw away from Pembrokeshire’s iconic National Park, this traditional mid-terrace cottage has been lovingly restored to provide guests with the perfect touring base to explore beautiful west Wales. Conveniently located in the heart of the village with its traditional Welsh pubs, this spacious cottage has been presented with quality furnishings throughout and features a traditional wood burning stove for those cosy nights in after a busy day’s adventure. Guests can relax in the enclosed garden and enjoy alfresco dining on a sunny day, or take a short stroll into the village and discover Cilgerran’s majestic 15th Century castle. The rolling Preseli Hills are within easy reach and home to numerous walks and mountain bike trails amidst the numerous iron age settlements dotted along its rugged terrain including the Bronze age burial chamber of Pentre Ifan Dolmen. The spectacular coastal path is just a 15 minute drive away and offers miles of rugged cliffs, horseshoe coves and golden beaches waiting to be explored. Away from the coast, the traditional market towns of Cardigan and Newcastle Emlyn offer interesting days out with a wide selection of gift shops, art galleries and tasteful pubs and restaurants. A trip to north Pembrokeshire would not be complete without a visit to the quaint, historic city of St Davids featuring its magnificent 12th Century castle and medieval ruins of Bishop’s Palace.
