Situated near the charming village of Cilgerran, in a small hamlet called Llwyn Celyn, this traditional, detached holiday cottage, close to the owner’s home, is nestled next to the Old Cardi Bach railway, with splendid views over the rolling Teifi Valley. Dating back to the early 19th century, Bridge House has retained much of its original character, including exposed beams, stone walls and a traditional fireplace for those cosy nights in! From the edge of the doorstep, guests can stroll into the village and discover the historic castle and gardens of Cilgerran or visit the traditional Welsh pubs dotted around the village, renowned for their fine ale and pub food. Conveniently located on the edge of the Pembrokeshire National Park, visitors can ramble the rugged Preseli Hills, with its picturesque walks and ancient monuments. Take a 10-minute drive to the coast and discover the iconic coastal path, which leads you to the pretty coastal resorts of Newport, Porthgain and the small city of St Davids, with its magnificent 12th-century cathedral and ruins of Bishops Palace. The charming market towns of Cardigan and Newcastle Emlyn offer an interesting day out and have a collection of gift shops, restaurants and enchanted sites for the family to explore. Tenby is just a 40-minute drive, with its thrilling leisure attractions including Oakwood, Folly Farm and Manor House wildlife park. For the more active, horse riding and golf can be found nearby.
