This single storey holiday cottage adjoins the owners’ home and is located in a peaceful cul-de-sac with glorious views over the vale and village. There is a private seating area in the garden from which to enjoy these views. It is just a short stroll to some local shops, and under a mile to 2 wonderful pubs, one on the banks of the canal and one by a weir on the River Avon. Bathampton is a picturesque village and a delight for walkers – only 2 miles from the city of Bath, one can walk along the towpath or even catch a boat into the city. Bath is full of famous sights and attractions; the sweeping crescents and Georgian architecture, the Roman baths and modern thermal spa with rooftop pool, the Abbey, Pulteney Bridge, the diverse and unique shopping, and many museums, galleries and cafes. In winter a visit to the Christmas market is a must. Within an hours drive you can visit the exciting and vibrant city of Bristol, Cheddar Gorge and caves, the small city of Wells, and Glastonbury Abbey and Tor. Shop 200 yards, pub and restaurant 1 mile.
