This 17th-century former tack room provides comfortable holiday accommodation and is set amidst some of the best dog walking countryside that Cornwall has to offer. A track that leaves directly from the rear garden leads across country to the Eden Project, enabling guests to walk there. This part of Cornwall is only minutes from St Austell Bay, and provides the perfect base to tour stunning coastal villages such as Charlestown, home to its own Tall Ships and a World Heritage Centre, Mevagissey, home to a working harbour, and Pentewan, which sits at the end of a picturesque cycle and walking trail. The Lost Gardens of Heligan are easily reached, as is Caerhays Castle, with its collection of award-winning camellias and historic gardens. Fowey is a traditional seafaring town and provides sea fishing, wildlife tours, river kayaking and a ferry across to Polruan. The dramatic north coast of Cornwall, with stunning cliffs, surf culture and beaches, is a short drive away. Beach 3 miles. Shop 1½ miles, pub and restaurant 100 yards.
