Elevated position

Sitting in an elevated and spacious position, this newly converted stone barn provides commanding countryside views. Furnished to a very good standard and adjoining the owner’s home, this attractive holiday property is ideally located for touring all of Cornwall including some of its main attractions such as The Eden Project with its bio-sphere domes and the Lost Gardens of Heligan being just a short drive away. The picturesque village of Mevagissey with its maze of narrow streets, bustling harbour, an interesting variety of shops, restaurants and pubs is just 5 miles. To the north of Mevagissey, the little port of Charlestown can be found, which formerly exported copper and later china clay. There is also a small museum and Heritage Centre that charts a fascinating history of fishing, wrecks, mining and migration to North America. It also has its own beach, whilst St. Austell offers outstanding cliff and coastal scenery with beaches at Carlyon Bay, Porthpean, Pentewan and Par. Truro 15 miles. Surfing beaches of Newquay 12 miles. Shop and pub 1/4 mile.
