Very close to the town centre but set in a quiet residential street with off street parking, Sea Breeze is a light and airy first floor holiday apartment, which offers a great base whether you want to explore locally or venture a little further afield. Cromer itself has all the facilities that a good town should have along with lots of things for tourists to do and explore. The traditional promenade leads to a wide, sandy beach with a pier that still offers seasonal shows. Add in a wide range of artisan and traditional seaside shops, plenty of places to eat, entertainment arcades and Amazonia Zoo and you’ll see why Cromer is such a popular destination. There are great public transport links, with a rail route to The Broads, where you can hire a launch or join a boat tour and Norwich, with its Medieval streets, Norman Castle and numerous museums. For a change of scene, you can also take the coast hopper bus which offers great views from the top deck. Just along the coast, and also accessible by train and bus, lies the bustling market town of Sheringham with it’s pretty shingle beach and the opportunity to watch the sun rise and set over the sea, which is unique for Norfolk. An old steam railway runs coastally to the picturesque town of Wells-next-to-Sea, with it’s picturesque quay and narrow gauge railway. Wells is well worth a visit a and you can easily spend a day there, but the journey by steam is almost a destination in itself. Famous for its vast collection of rhododendrons and azaleas, Sheringham Park has over 1,000 acres of coastal and woodland walks and offers an array of wildlife. It should be noted that the course is subject to the tides, and at times part of the course can be cut off but, this makes play more interesting. The course is well maintained and is in excellent condition, greens are fast and true, it is not a particularly long course. The course is quite challenging and has a number of obstacles, from the winds that are almost persistent here making play difficult at the best of times, the bunkers are deep, it also has some astounding views and the scenery is gorgeous. The club is very welcoming to everyone and you will find he staff to be very friendly, professional and courteous. They restrict the numbers that play on the course so it is never crowded and remains easy to get around. The clubhouse is lovely, well aged and luxurious and very comfortable, it has excellent facilities, and has a nice menu that is diverse and serves good quality home cooked food. Royal West Norfolk Golf Club is ranked as one of the top 50 courses in the UK and this accolade is highly deserved, it is a fantastic course with green fees that reflect the quality and stature of the course, not to be missed if you get the opportunity.
