This spacious, ground floor holiday apartment enjoys a very central location in the heart of Glastonbury, just at the corner of the High Street, so all the attractions and amenities of the town are within a short stroll. The apartment is full of character and ‘the Glastonbury Spirit’, and has a lovely courtyard area to relax and enjoy the peace away from the bustle of the town. Some of the many attractions in Glastonbury include The Abbey, set in 37 acres of parklands and Glastonbury Tor, which can be seen from a great distance rising enigmatically above the flat Summerland meadows. There are many myths and legends associated with the Tor and wonderful views from the top. Try the Millennium Trail, a series of town trail markers set into the pavement. This circular walking trail will help you to explore more about the town and learn about its fascinating history. Chalice Well is one of Britain’s most ancient wells, nestling in the Vale of Avalon between the famous Glastonbury Tor and Chalice Hill. Surrounded by beautiful gardens and orchards it is a living sanctuary in which visitors can experience the quiet healing of this sacred place. For over two thousand years this has been a place where people have gathered to drink the waters and find solace, peace and inspiration. Nearby attractions include Cheddar Gorge and caves, Wookey Hole, the designer outlet shopping village at Street and the magnificent cathedral at Wells. Within an hour’s drive explore the cities of Bath and Bristol. Shop, pub and restaurant 50 yards.

All on ground floor: Living room. Dining room/kitchen. 1 double (5ft) bedroom. Shower room with toilet.

Gas CH, elec, bed linen and towels included. Freeview TV. DVD. Electric Cooker. Microwave. Washing Machine. Fridge Freezer. Courtyard with sitting-out area and furniture. Car park 100 yards (£3.60 per day). No smoking.
