Set in a quiet, sleepy hamlet and perfectly located for exploring the delights of west Cornwall, this well-equipped period holiday cottage has been lovingly renovated and provides cosy accommodation for couples all year round. Just a short drive away is the beautiful white sandy beach of Sennen Cove and also Lands End with its stunning coastal walks and rugged scenery. The Minack Theatre that’s cut into the cliff face with the ocean as its dramatic backdrop and Porthcurno, voted one of Europe’s most beautiful beaches, are both well worth a visit. The area has something for everyone, from coastal walks and cycle routes, to the the bird marshes at Marazion and Hayle. Guests can visit nearby Newlyn with the Newlyn Art Gallery and its renowned fish market, ideal for buying fresh, local produce. Explore the pretty and quaint harbour village of Mousehole, a delight any time of the year, or St Ives, home to The Tate Modern and Barbara Hepworth Museum. Here guests can dine al-fresco at one of the many cafés and restaurants dotted along the water’s edge. Drive the stunning coastal route from Pendeen to St Ives passing purple, heather clad moorland and historic engine houses, revealing the area’s mining heritage. Conveniently located 25 yards from the bus stop that takes you to the centre of St Just, guests can visit its busy square and town amenities with a variety of eateries. Cape Cornwall offers amazing scenery, walks and a 18-hole golf course. The area boasts numerous National Trust gardens open to the public, and a visit to St Michael’s Mount is also a must where the small island can be reached on foot at low tide or by small boat at high tide.
