One of a row, is set over three levels with many original period features and is ideal for exploring Penzance, the nearby fishing harbour at Newlyn, the quaint village of Mousehole and the gateway to West Cornwall. Take a stroll to the sea front or the heart of Penzance, with its great choice of restaurants, cafés, shops and art galleries. There is also a tennis club and the Cornish Pirates rugby ground close by. Penzance overlooks Mounts Bay, with St Michael’s Mount rising from the sea perched on its tiny rock island. The mount can be reached on foot at low tide by causeway or by small boat at high tide from the historic town of Marazion. There is a white sandy beach, perfect for long sunny days, or breathtaking, wind-swept walks in the autumn and winter months. Take a short drive to St Ives or hop on the scenic coastal train from nearby St Erth to St Ives town, and pass some of the area’s most beautiful beaches and the wide estuary at Hayle. Visit Sennen Cove or Whitesand Beach, which is popular with surfers. Explore legendary Lands End, with its wild coastal paths, or take the scenic coastal drive from Pendeen to St Ives, over heather-clad moorland passing Zennor. Sea front and esplanade 200 yards. Shop 440 yards, pub 150 yards.
