This beautiful, elevated, ground floor holiday apartment, next to the owners’ home, is perfect for families or couples, and provides a place to relax and unwind after a busy day exploring West Cornwall. The apartment is conveniently located within easy walking distance of restaurants, bars, cafés, art galleries and shops. Stroll along the promenade leading from Penzance Harbour to the old fishing village and port of Newlyn, and then onto the quaint harbour of Mousehole. The area has great public transport links including a main rail line and a link to the scenic coastal train from St Erth into St Ives. There is a daily ferry service from Penzance to the beautiful Isles of Scilly or take an open top bus ride to take advantage of the breathtaking coastal routes. The fairytale castle of St Michaels Mount, rising from the sea, can be visited on foot via causeway at low tide or by small boat at high tide. Visit the historic town of Marazion, with its winding streets filled with curiosity shops, tea rooms and art galleries, or enjoy a walk along the wide, white sandy beach of Mounts Bay. The area attracts watersports enthusiasts, with activities such as kite surfing, wind surfing, sailing, scuba diving and kayaking available. Bird watchers from all over the world visit the area, with wildlife marshes at Marazion and nearby Hayle Estuary. Other attractions close by include Sennen Cove, the romantic Minack Theatre, which is cut into the rock face and has the ocean as a back drop, Lands End or walk along the South West Coastal Path.
