This detached holiday cottage, close to the owners’ home, is located in the heart of the coastal town of New Quay and just a ten-minute walk from the idyllic Pembrokeshire and Ceredigion Coastal Path, making it an ideal base for a romantic getaway. The converted stable has been renovated to retain its elegant simplicity, with vintage and contemporary Welsh art and textiles. Guests can curl up by the wood-burning stove, or sit and unwind on the private terrace and enjoy superb views over Cardigan Bay. Only a five-minute walk to the sandy beach, this boutique bolthole is close to all the local pubs and restaurants, as well as the picturesque fishing harbour, where bottlenose dolphins may be spotted on a clear day. New Quay is where the poet Dylan Thomas lived during the war, and visitors can follow the Dylan Thomas Trail around the town. Nearby, New Quay Honey Farm is well worth a visit, as are the ruins of Strata Florida Abbey. The Cambrian Mountains are only a short drive away. Golf and horse riding nearby. Shop 200 yards, pub 50 yards.

Open-plan living/dining room with wood-burning stove, French doors, galley-style kitchen area and wooden floors. Shower room with toilet. First floor: Double bedroom with sea view and additional single bed (for +1 child).
