Situated just outside the villages of Peopleton and Pinvin, Varden House (ref 29984) and Broad Iron Cottage (ref 29985) are in a wonderful location from which to really explore the surrounding areas. Absolutely perfect for guests who enjoy walking, rambling or cycling, these semi-detached holiday cottages are situated on the cusp of the three counties of Worcestershire, Warwickshire and Gloucestershire and offer so many opportunities to enjoy the outdoors. There is even a local pub that serves good food that is just a 1½ mile walk away and a fishing lake stocked full of koi carp that can be booked ahead at a small cost. Only a very short drive away from the world famous Cotswolds and Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, guests will find the chance to explore many established footpaths, bridle paths and cycle ways to guide you through the countryside. Whilst in the area, guests really must take every opportunity to visit one of the many Cotswolds towns and villages that are nearby, including Broadway, Moreton-in-Marsh, Chipping Campden, Bourton-on-the-Water and Shipston-on-Stour. In the opposite direction but still within an easy 20-mile radius and perfect for families, guests will be able to enjoy a day out in the cathedral city of Worcester, a walk through the magnificent scenery of the Malvern Hills or even an historic tour of Shakespeare’s Stratford-upon-Avon. The historic market town of Evesham can be reached within a 15-minute drive too and provides the perfect opportunity to visit the historic abbey or enjoy a browse around the shops and a walk on the banks of the river. There are almost 20 National Trust properties within a thirty-mile radius including Warwick Castle, Hidcote Gardens and Kenilworth Castle. The Regency town of Cheltenham is also only a thirty-minute drive away and definitely worth a day trip to the world famous Royal Cheltenham Racecourse for a flutter on the Gold Cup in March. Birmingham NEC and Cadbury World are a little further afield but can still be reached within a one-hour drive. The perfect base for touring and exploring as a family or group of friends, Varden House and Broad Iron Cottage can be booked together or separately. Both properties have been converted, yet still manage to retain many original features and all of the character and charm that you would expect. Shop 1½ miles, pub and restaurant 1 mile.
