Situated in the heart of the Worcestershire countryside, semi-detached barn conversions, Buzzard (ref 29195) and Blackberry (ref 29194), are perfectly located for guests wishing to enjoy some real peace and quiet. Accommodating up to four guests, Buzzard is the ideal holiday base for families, couples, friends and walkers who really want to explore the local countryside and fabulous walks alongside the owner’s grounds leading to the Wychavon Way. Blackberry is the perfect spot for guests wishing to enjoy a romantic getaway; packed with unique, original features, including curved window arches and exposed beams, this cottage for two gives a feeling of romance and relaxation. The views from each property extend over acres of rolling countryside towards the Lickey Hills, and from the shared grounds guests will be able to see as far as the Malvern Hills. Each property has its own private, enclosed, lawned garden with table, chairs and barbecue. There is also a shared courtyard area to the rear. Ideal for guests who want to be able to leave the car behind and enjoy a meal and drink in a local pub; there are several pubs within 3 miles and also a local shop in the nearby village of Harvington. For guests who do wish to travel just a little further afield, Buzzard and Blackberry are perfectly located for the Cotswolds and the Malvern Hills, where walkers and visitors will be able to see the landscape of four different counties. There is a fishing lake, golf club and also tennis courts within a few miles’ walk and guests will be provided with access to the local Lenches club. There is also plenty to see and enjoy in the local area for guests wishing to travel within an easy hour’s drive. Ragley Hall, with its world famous game fair, is only 20 minutes away and offers history, magnificent gardens, a lake and a themed play area for children and is most definitely worth a trip. The historic market town of Stratford-upon-Avon is only a 30-minute drive and here guests will be able to visit the many historic houses and sites associated with William Shakespeare, including Shakespeare’s Birthplace, Anne Hathaway’s Cottage and Mary Arden’s Farm, as well as the world famous Royal Shakespeare Theatre that lies on the banks of the River Avon. A little further afield, but still with an easy drive, guests will be able to visit one of the pretty Cotswold villages such as Broadway, Moreton in Marsh, Chipping Campden, Winchcombe and Bourton-on-the-Water. Regency Cheltenham, with its famous racecourse, is within an hour’s drive along with the cathedral cities of Worcester and Warwick, the market town of Ledbury, Gloucester and Tewkesbury. Birmingham Airport, 45 minutes’ drive. Tennis locally. Shop 2½ miles, pub and restaurant 3 miles. Properties 29194 and 29195 can be booked together to accommodate up to 6 guests.
