Less than 1/2 mile from the gorgeous sandy beach of Carbis Bay, this comfortable, semi-detached holiday bungalow, with the benefit of an air filtration system which is ideal for asthma sufferers, sits in a quiet residential area and is convenient for shops, pub and the coast. It is perfect for small families or couples looking to enjoy the beaches and facilities of St Ives or exploring West and North Cornwall’s dramatic coastline. The area boasts some of Europe’s most beautiful beaches, as well as the Tate Modern and the Barbara Hepworth art galleries. Dine at one of St Ives’ al fresco restaurants dotted along the water’s edge and relax watching the marine activity; browse the winding streets full of small curiosity shops, art and craft galleries, or sample a cream tea in one of many tea rooms and cafés. St Ives has attracted artists from all over the world with its dramatic, almost Mediterranean blue seas and enchanting skies; its picturesque harbour and pretty beaches attract visitors year after year. It is also a haven for water sports enthusiasts, walkers and wildlife lovers, attracting bird watchers from around the UK. Take the scenic coastal train from St Ives to St Erth passing many of the stunning beaches on route including the wide Hayle estuary. Just a short drive away is the historic town of Marazion with St Michaels Mount rising up from the sea. The Mount is open to the public and can be reached on foot via the causeway at low tide or by small ferry at high tide. Visit the busy harbour and town of Penzance or experience a day trip to the beautiful Isles of Scilly by passenger ferry from Penzance or by air from the airport at Lands End. Beach 1/4 mile.
