Stunning location with fabulous sea views, close to beach, harbour and coastal walks

Coverack is on the southern edge of the Lizard Peninsula, the most southerly point of mainland Britain and designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with unspoilt fishing villages and tiny tucked-away beaches, coves and scenic coastal walks. The Lower Deck (ref 27358) has French doors from the double bedroom leading to a small balcony. Fishing and pleasure boats shelter in Coverack’s pretty harbour with a backdrop of picture-postcard thatched cottages, tea rooms perfect for an afternoon cream tea, the Paris Hotel serving good food, and small shops all within easy walking distance. Mullion is the largest village on The Lizard Peninsula with several shops, arts and craft galleries, village pub and cafes. Lizard Point with the Lizard Lighthouse and Heritage Centre offers a fun, interactive experience with exhibitions and displays for the whole family. The area is perfect for exploring the many beautiful coves and beaches including Mullion Cove, Kynance Cove, St Keverne, The Lizard Point and the magnificent Helford Estuary and creeks. The historic town of Helston, famous for its Flora Day (Floral Dance) in May, is just a short drive as is Porthleven with its busy harbour with waterside cafés, pub and shops. It is a short drive to Falmouth on the south coast with its maritime history, glorious sandy beaches, marina, harbour, parks and sub tropical gardens. Visit the National Maritime Museum and Pendennis Castle, take a ferry or small boat trip to St Mawes, experience the Park and Float, water safaris to see dolphins, basking sharks, seals and experience the numerous waterways including Carrick Roads and The Helford Passage. Goonhilly Earth Station is just a short drive away and open daily to the public, or have a day to remember at The National Seal Sanctuary at Gweek. Sailing, fishing, golf, bird watching and walking in abundance. Shop, pub and restaurant ¼ mile. Properties 27357 and 27358 can be booked together to accommodate up to 10 guests.
