This spacious, detached holiday property is wonderfully situated in Cornwall’s countryside, yet only minutes from many of the beautiful beaches in the area such as Looe, Hannifore and Seaton, which is a year-round dog friendly beach with a stylish beach bar and café. Looe, 4 miles, is home to one of the country’s fish markets supplied by the day boats that leave this quaint working harbour. Stroll the lanes that lead to the harbour and wide expanse of golden sand, buy some fish or seafood for that special meal or visit one of the multitude of restaurants the town offers. The coastal path passes nearby and provides beautiful walks and views along this dramatic coastline. In September there are live music festivals with many big names playing in the various venues.
Polperro, a quaint and historic fishing village, is a short distance along the coast. There are numerous cycle routes around the area and many surfing spots along the coast. Various tourist attractions include The Monkey Sanctuary, The National Marine Aquarium in Plymouth and many golf courses along with National Trust gardens and houses. The Eden Project is an easy drive and provides a great day out, as does Padstow, The Lost Gardens of Heligan and Fowey, a picturesque seafaring town providing sailing, kayaking and pleasure trips along the Fowey River.
Deep sea fishing, pleasure trips and other water sports can all be enjoyed, along with woodland and coastal walks, horse riding and river kayaking. To the east of the town is the historic city of Plymouth with its theatres, cinemas, bowling and shopping, while to the west is the sea faring town of Fowey, home to the royal sailing regatta and many galleries. Shop ¼ mile, pub 1½ mile and restaurant 2 miles.
