Bike hire and a café can be found at the centre of the trails. The ancient town of Lostwithiel, also sitting on the River Fowey, is the centre of the Cornish antiques industry and also has many craft and antique shops, and excellent award-winning restaurants and pubs. There are many historic buildings including Restormel Castle, a must for all who visit the area. The local golf club is renowned and well worth a round. Fowey at the mouth of the river is a real gem, a stunning town which has many local shops, pubs, cafés and galleries for you to browse as you meander around the narrow cobble lanes. There are opportunities for sailing; Fowey has its own Royal Yacht Club, experience sea trips to see dolphins and deep sea fishing trips are available too. The annual Du Maurier Festival and the Fowey Royal Regatta are popular times to visit, as many people enjoy the culture and atmosphere.
