This single storey, spacious barn is attached to the owners’ home and lies within 4 acres of grounds, backing on to fields and rolling countryside. The holiday property is full of character, with exposed stone walls, high beams, oak floors and a contemporary fully tiled walk in shower room. There is a very secluded gravelled area with loungers and seating, and a path extending from this area that leads to footpaths, with a pleasant mile and a half stroll to a local pub. The property is located within the small peaceful village of Burnett, some 6 miles west of Bath and close to the villages of Compton Dando and Marksbury. It is situated on the River Chew, and is about 2 miles from Keynsham which has a wide range of local amenities, shops and restaurants. The Roman city of Bath has many attractions to entice the visitor, including the Roman Baths, the Thermae Bath Spa with rooftop pool, the magnificent abbey, the sweeping Georgian crescent such as The Circle and the Royal Crescent, and the vast array of independent shops, pubs, restaurants, galleries and museums. With the Kennett and Avon Canal and the River Avon running through the city, there are boat trips, cycle routes and footpaths alongside the waterways. A little further afield, one can visit the city of Wells with its 13th-century cathedral and Bishops Palace, the maritime city of Bristol, the coastal resorts of Somerset including Weston-super-Mare, Clevedon and Burnham-on-Sea, and within a short drive, the Cotswolds. Shop 2 miles, pub and restaurant 1 mile.

Spacious living room with oak floor. Kitchen/dining room with wooden floor. Double bedroom with TV, 6ft zip & link bed (can be twin) and en-suite wet room with rain shower and toilet.
