This cosy holiday cottage in the garden of the owner’s home, but completely private, offers comfortable accommodation and is in the perfect location for exploring the Kingdom of Fife and central Scotland. Accessed via a farm track, it enjoys a rural location with walks from the door, including to the village of Cairneyhill, where there are a selection of local shops, pubs, restaurant and a golf club.

Just five miles away is Dunfermline which has a great selection of shops, bars and restaurants. It was once the ancient capital of Scotland and there are a wide number of historical venues to visit, including the 12th Century abbey which is the final resting place of Robert the Bruce and the burial site of 11 other Scottish kings and queens.

The scenic Fife Coastal Path is close by and you can enjoy leisurely walks and visit pretty fishing villages and sandy beaches. Lochleven, 12 miles from Dunfermline, is the perfect venue for keen anglers (licence required). Thanks to its unique location it is teeming with brown trout and is recognised as one of the best places in Scotland to reel in a catch.

With quick access to the M90/M80 motorways, Edinburgh, Stirling, Perth and Glasgow are within easy reach. The sunny garden has a large lawn and is the ideal place for relaxing with a glass of wine. There is also a local bus service in the village to Dunfermline.
