This charming terraced house is set in a quiet street above the historical, working fishing village of Mevagissey. Just minutes from the harbour, pubs, galleries, shops and restaurants, this holiday property provides the perfect base to explore the tiny streets of this Cornish gem. Mevagissey is the perfect destination for all types of holiday, whether it’s a peaceful break, beach holiday or activity break on this picturesque stretch of Cornwall. The working harbour provides a port for many fishing vessels that sit side by side with tourist boats that provide fishing and sighsteeing trips around the dramatic coastline. A ferry runs from the harbour across the bay to the town of Fowey, which can be seen in the distance. A short journey from Mevagissey will bring you to one of Cornwall’s best and most dramatic gardens, the Lost Gardens of Heligan, where you can admire the Italianate garden and relax afterwards in its cosy cafe. The beaches of Pentewan, Port Mellon and Gorran Haven are all easily accessible. For the more adventurous, an off-road cycle track and footpath at Pentewan provides an alternative route to one of Cornwall’s most famous tourist attractions, the Eden Project. The cycle path joins a network of trails right into the heart of Cornwall’s historic China Clay area. Other attractions in the area are Caerhays House and Garden, a vineyard and the shipwreck and heritage centre at nearby Charlestown, home to tall sailing ships and a regular set used for film and TV programmes. Nearby St Austell has supermarkets, bowling, swimming pools and leisure facilities. The cathedral city of Truro can also be easily reached, and has a cinema, theatre, shops, a museum and restaurants. Beach 150 yards. Shop, pub and restaurant 150 yards.
