Glenside is a spacious detached house in a peaceful location, surrounded by flower fields and countryside. It is an excellent holiday base for walking and just ½ mile from the scenic coastal path. The local amenities of Rosudgeon are just a 7-minute walk and include a grocery store, post office, takeaway and great pub serving good food. The area has an abundance of sandy beaches and coves dotted along this pretty coastline, including Prussia Cove, Praa Sands and the historic harbour at Porthleven with quayside pubs and cafés. Visit the ancient town of Marazion with the sweeping sandy beach of Mounts Bay and cobbled causeway leading to St Michael’s Mount at low tide, or reached by small boat at high tide. The area is popular for surfing, kite surfing, wind surfing, sailing, birds, wildlife, walking and golf. The bustling town and harbour of Penzance with its long promenade with open-air lido, shops, restaurants, cafés and art galleries is just a short drive. Or hop on the local bus that passes close by. Take a day trip to the beautiful Isles of Scilly by helicopter or ferry. Just a short distance down the coast is the famous fishing harbour of Newlyn and picturesque Mousehole village and harbour with its narrow alleyways, craft and art galleries. Explore the white sandy beach at Sennen, legendary Land’s End, the Minack open-air theatre and the cobbled streets of St Ives with the Tate Modern and Barbara Hepworth Museum. Head north along the coast to the Lizard Peninsula with hidden coves or visit the busy port of Falmouth with the National Maritime Museum, Pendennis Castle and glorious beaches. The award-winning pub at Perranuthnoe is just 1½ miles. Shop ¼ mile, pub 1½ miles, restaurant 1 mile.
