Set in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, this traditional Pembrokeshire stone holiday cottage is in a quiet lane at the edge of the small coastal village of Trefin, a short walk from the spectacular coastal path. The cottage is the middle one in a row of three and has been furnished throughout with loving care and great attention to detail, with four en-suite bedrooms. The cosy living and sitting rooms have wood-burning stoves and the bedrooms are a delight, with views of the sea and coast from the two rear bedrooms. Outside, guests can relax in the large, enclosed garden with magnificent sea views, perfect for watching the sun set over Aberfelin Cove. The area itself has lots to offer, including fantastic walks along the iconic coastal path where visitors will find the picturesque harbour villages of Porthgain and Solva, offering art galleries, shops and irresistible restaurants with freshly caught fish always on the menu. Visit the small city of St David’s, featuring the magnificent 12th-century cathedral and the medieval ruins of the Bishop’s Palace, both historic landmarks to explore with the family, or head to Whitesands or Newgale with their beautiful beaches. Away from the coast, Pembrokeshire’s countryside is just as promising with its array of charming market towns and medieval castles dotted around the county. For a family day out, take a short drive to the popular tourist resorts of Tenby and Saundersfoot, or visit the county’s award-winning leisure attractions including Oakwood, Manor House and Folly Farm. Beach ½ mile. Shop 2 miles, pub and cafe 500 yards.
