Cherry Tree House is a stunning Victorian garden fronted terraced house located close to the centre of Lytham. Voted one of the best places to live in the UK, Lytham is one of the most vibrant and cosmopolitan towns on the Fylde Coast making Cherry Tree House the ideal coastal escape for families and couples who like to have a good range of bars, cafes, shops and supermarkets right on their doorstep.

This spacious and well laid out home has been thoughtfully renovated to retain all of its period charm, whilst at the same time providing all the modern comforts one requires from their holiday home such as Sky TV and wi-fi. With its high ceilings, cornicing, wooden panelling and shuttered windows, the owners have kept the house true to its heritage but have taken it up another level by adding some luxurious touches to make this a truly elegant home. The open plan living and dining room is simply stunning with its built in floor to ceiling cupboards, fireplace with wood-burning stove, crushed velvet sofas and statement light fittings. The kitchen, whilst small, is perfectly formed with integrated fridge, dishwasher and gas Aga and there are steps leading down to the lower ground floor utility area which houses the freezer and washer/dryer. All the bedrooms are beautifully presented and have their own TV. The spacious family bathroom on the first floor is simply sensational. A beautiful chandelier hangs over the freestanding bath tub from which you can relax and enjoy a glass of wine whilst watching the perfectly positioned TV. There is also a separate shower cubicle which is beautifully tiled to bounce around the light. Thoughtful extras such as bath robes, slippers and toiletries are also provided to add to the luxury experience.

Due to its central location, Cherry Tree House does not have an extensive garden but there is a rear yard with private gated access, and there is a BBQ and garden furniture for al fresco dining as well as space for parking.

Lytham and neighbouring St-Annes-on-Sea offers great opportunities for walking and cycling, and there is a wide choice of entertainment and leisure facilities, which includes 5 championship golf courses, as well as facilities for sailing, bowling and swimming. Due to its proximity to the reeds and marshes of the Ribble Estuary, the area is also popular with birdwatchers and wildlife lovers. As a complete contrast, the bright lights of Blackpool, with its famous tower, Pleasure Beach, zoo, Sea Life Centre and Sandcastle Waterpark, is just 9 miles away. Other towns worth visiting on the north west coast include Thornton Cleveleys and Fleetwood, whose designer shopping outlet is very popular. Should you fancy a change from the stunning coastal landscapes, there are so many other places to visit that are within easy reach, thanks to its proximity to the motorway network via the M55 and M6. Ribble Valley, Forest of Bowland AONB, the Yorkshire Dales and the Lake District are all very accessible and can be reached in just under an hour. Lytham hosts many popular events throughout the year, including the famous Lytham Proms, which takes place at the beginning of August, making it the ideal year round coastal destination. Beach ½ mile. Shop, pub and restaurant ½ mile.

Living/dining room with wood-burning stove, French doors to courtyard and wooden floor. Step down to kitchen with gas Aga. First floor: Two double bedrooms, each with TV; one with 6ft zip & link bed (can be twin on request), one with 5ft bed. Single bedroom.
