Castle Hill Cottage is a quaint, historic holiday cottage, located on the edge of Hythe. With prominent views over the town and further to sea, this is one of the oldest properties in Hythe, built in 1740. This delightful adjoining holiday cottage has been renovated to a very good standard but still holds many of its original features. Full of character, Castle Hill Cottage is the perfect location for any couple or small family looking for a coastal break. Boasting a garden with incredible views, this makes a wonderful place to sit with a glass of wine watching the sun go down. There is roadside parking close to the property to help with access, and it is only a short walk into the bustling town of Hythe.
Attractions nearby include the Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch Railway with scenic, marshside, steam-powered locomotives passing through New Romney to Dungeness. The Royal Military Canal stretches for 28 miles, with shorter towpath cycle and walking routes fanning out from Hythe, or cruise along the canal on a hired electric or rowing boat. Nearby Port Lympne Wild Animal Park and Howletts Wild Animal Park showcase lions, tigers, gorillas and meerkats, providing a marvellous safari day trip. Nearby Folkestone and Dover offer access to France for a spot of lunch or a romantic weekend break in Paris. Beach 1½ miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 500 yards.

Spacious beamed living room. Galley-style kitchen/dining room with tiled floor. First floor: Double bedroom. Single bedroom. Shower room with toilet.
