A well-positioned terraced holiday property in the centre of Bala, Snowdonia and within walking distance of restaurants, shops and pubs. Visitors to the area known as the Welsh Lake District can enjoy the beautiful scenery provided by the surrounding lakes and mountain backdrop. Local attractions are plentiful and include sailing on Bala Lake, white water rafting, high ropes, paintballing and mountain adventure with courses for 4x4s and quad bikes. Cycling opportunities abound with mountain bike centres just 30 minutes away and road cycling routes including a 23-mile round trip over the highest pass in North Wales, to the picturesque Lake Vyrnwy. For those looking for a quiet holiday there’s Tan Yr Allt Gallery, a 9 mile return railway journey that follows the side of the lake, glassblobbery and Caerau Uchaf gardens - the highest gardens open to the public in North Wales. An easy drive would take you west towards the Cambrian coast, and further tourist attractions including King Arthur’s Labyrinth and Corris Mine for exploring and a craft centre. North would see you at Snowdon with its mountain railway, Sygun copper mines, slate caverns and historic castles. South takes you over the Berwyn Mountains down to the Tanat Valley where one of the eight wonders of Wales, Llanrhaeadr waterfall, can be found, and east takes you to popular tourist destinations including Llangollen.
