Formerly the chapel minister’s house to the adjacent Welsh Methodist chapel next door, Ty Capel Bryn Mawr sits above the A5 road in the centre of Betws-y-Coed, the gateway to Snowdonia. This character property makes a great place to stay and for exploring the area. Within walking distance are a great selection of eateries in the village centre, and there are riverside and forest walks available from the door. Thrill seekers will enjoy the Tree Top Adventure high ropes course. Hear a local Welsh choir singing in St Mary’s Church in the summer, or visit the stunning Bodnant Garden (NT), less than 30 minutes away by car. The fabulous Surf Snowdonia, the world’s first artificial surfing lake, is well worth a visit, as is the historic town of Conwy with its Edward I castle, and the Victorian seaside resort of Llandudno. These are only a few of the numerous attractions that are waiting to delight you in this exceptionally pretty part of north Wales. There is a station in the centre of the village which makes the whole of scenic north Wales accessible by public transport.

Ty Capel Bryn Mawr can be booked together with Tyn Y Ffynnon (CC612074) to accommodate up to 10 guests.
