This delightful, Victorian gentleman’s residence, adjoining another property, stands in a stunning location overlooking the famous Waterloo Bridge, a stone’s throw from the centre of picturesque Betws-y-Coed in the heart of the Snowdonia National Park. With original wooden flooring and spacious rooms, Coedfa House makes for a grand holiday property. Guests may also enjoy free use of leisure facilities comprising an indoor heated swimming pool with Jacuzzi, shower and changing facilties, a sauna, steam room and gym at a hotel, just 200 yards away.
There are forest and riverside walks from the house and much to do in the area. Thrill seekers will love the nearby Tree Top Adventure high ropes course, whilst mountain bike enthusiasts are well-catered for at the Marin Bike Trail in Penmachno. Climbing, paragliding, orienteering, horse riding and fishing may all be enjoyed in the local area. Don’t miss the famous Portmeirion Italianate Village, slate mines, fabulous beaches and the Electric Mountain Visitor Centre at Llanberis.
Nearby Llangollen offers horse-drawn boat rides on the canal, a good selection of craft shops and lively events all year round. The famous Ffestiniog Railway, just 11 miles, provides a spectacular journey through mountains and forests to the coast, while the Victorian seaside resort of Llandudno and the historic walled town of Conwy is just 30 minutes’ drive. Shop ¼ mile and pub 100 yards.
