Peaceful rural location

The Orchard dates back to the 17th century and was sympathetically rebuilt to the Georgian character in the 1970s. Situated in a secluded position in the conservation area of West Green in the Georgian market town of Stokesley, this detached holiday property is surrounded by mature secluded gardens. Stokesley is situated between the old market town of Thirsk and the market town of Helmsley on the edge of the North Yorkshire Moors National Park. Surrounded by beautiful countryside it is a haven for walkers and Stokesley holds an annual fair in September. The Orchard is an ideal touring base to explore North Yorkshire, a short drive leads you into the glorious North Yorkshire Moors National Park. The Heritage Coast of East Yorkshire has miles of sandy beaches and towering sea cliffs or visit the quaint fishing villages such as Runswick Bay, Robin Hood’s Bay or Whitby. Within easy reach is the walled city of York with its theatres, art galleries, canal boat trips, cobbled streets, Minster, shops, pubs and restaurants. Shop, pub and restaurant 100 yards (closed mid-late Sept).
