With outstanding views over the Tillingham Valley at the end of a private drive in a farm setting, this splendid detached, oak-beamed converted granary dates back to 1850 and has been completed to a very good standard, with galleried oak staircase, latch oak doors and part-beamed throughout. For guests’ further enjoyment there is an internal games room and a table tennis table situated in an open bay garage opposite the holiday property. There is also shared use of the owner’s outdoor heated swimming pool by arrangement (May to September). For walkers and cyclists there are tracks and paths to be explored on the doorstep. Visit Rye with its antiquarian bookshops, potteries, antiques and art galleries. The Heritage Centre boasts the Town Model Sound and Light Show and a unique exhibition of working old pier slot machines! Explore the golden sands at Camber; visit Hastings and watch the fishermen land the days catch; ride the Kent and East Sussex Vintage Steam Railway or choose from the many beautiful gardens to explore - Great Dixter, historic castles, Bodiam or local vineyards. Coarse fishing by arrangement and golf locally. Shops 2 miles, pub ½ mile.
