Located in the beautiful village of Charney Bassett, within the Vale of White Horse, is The Gilletts Cottage at Charney Manor. Originally a pair, The Gillets was renovated into one large, detached five bedroom property, creating an ideal space for quiet, rest and relaxation in the grounds of Charney Manor, providing a truly stunning setting. Charney Bassett lies just outside the thriving market town of Wantage, south of Oxford and around 3 miles from the Ridgeway and the famous White Horse Hill. The area is bursting with beautiful scenery and amazing sights, as well as a great collection of things to do and explore. The attractive villages and footpaths of the Cotswolds are waiting to be explored together with Blenheim Palace, Kelmscott Manor and the Cotswold Wildlife Park. Being close to Oxford, you will have no trouble finding exciting ways to spend your days: explore some of Oxfords 38 colleges, the botanic garden, laze by the river or visit Oxford Castle.
