Closy by Ludlow, famous for its castle, festivals, quaint streets, shops, open markets and an abundance of restaurants for fine dining, some Michelin starred. The area also boasts many National Trust properties, all within easy driving distance. Have a day out further afield to the cathedral cities of Worcester, with its Porcelain outlet, Hereford, home to Bulmer’s cider and museum, and Gloucester for the regeneration of the Docks and the abbey at Tewkesbury.
