Enjoying a truly unique location adjacent to the owner’s well stocked course fishing lakes, and just 1 mile from the historic border town of Oswestry, these two delightful real wood lodges make cosy and comfortable year round retreats. Fishermen are well catered for at Weston Pools with the choice of five fishing lakes (by arrangement, extra charge), a well-stocked tackle shop and a small cafe. Oswestry offers a fine selection of independent shops, a weekly street market and an excellent selection of eateries and pubs. The surrounding area holds a myriad of visitor attractions and outdoor leisure pursuits, including magnificent National Trust castles at both Chirk and Welshpool, and Erdigg Hall at Wrexham with its woodland walks and horse drawn carriage rides. Llangollen, just over the border in Wales, is home to steam trains, horse drawn canal boat rides, the world famous annual music Eisteddfod and, for the more adventurous, white water rafting on the River Dee. Golf, riding, climbing and walking can all be enjoyed locally. Shop 1 mile and pub 0.5 miles.
