There are many historic houses to visit, including Forde Abbey and Gardens and Montacute House and Gardens, and family entertainment such as The Donkey Sanctuary, Crealy Adventure Park and inland Yeovilton Fleet Air Arm Museum. Exeter Cathedral City is worth a day out to see the Cathedral itself, the catacombs, museums and shops. Shops and pubs ¼ mile.
