Set in the beautiful north Pennines, Britain’s ‘last undiscovered wilderness’, with spectacular views from its superb fellside position, this 18th-century stone house has been renovated to a very high standard. Adjoining the owners’ home and making the ideal rural retreat. It is perfectly situated as a touring base with the Lake District less than an hour’s drive away. Shops, pub 2½ miles.
