Enjoying stunning views over Tarbert’s harbour (right photograph) and Loch Fyne, this spacious and comfortably furnished house is within walking distance of the quayside shops, inns and restaurants. A bustling fishing village, Tarbert also offers boat trips to Jura, Gigha, Islay and Arran, whilst opportunities for sea fishing and riding in the lovely surrounding countryside are available locally. There is golf, too, with the 18 hole championship links course at Machrihanish just a short drive away, and four other courses close by.The glorious landscape of the Kintyre Peninsula holds a rich variety of attractions, with excellent hill walking and beautiful forest scenery. At Lochgilphead (15 miles), Kilmory Castle displays its world famous rhododendrons in its lovely gardens. A little further on, Dunadd hill fort and Kilmartin Glen’s wealth of standing stones are steeped in history. Shops and pubs within walking distance.
