Within the unspoilt grounds of the owner’s 18th century Canon Bridge House, this detached holiday cottage is situated on the banks of the River Wye, with private fishing available (June to March). It offers comfortable accommodation to enable you to enjoy the delights of the surrounding area. Steps in the grounds will lead you down to the river to enjoy private fishing from a wooden deck or it is the perfect spot to just relax. All within easy driving distance are the historic city of Hereford, host to the Three Choirs Festival, Hay-on-Wye renowned for its literary festival and known as ‘the book capital of the world’, the pretty market town of Ross-on-Wye and the black and white town of Ledbury, ever popular for its poetry festivals. There are many places of historical interest such as castles, churches and museums. You are close to the beautiful Golden Valley and Wye Valley, and further afield enjoy the stunning scenery of the Brecon Beacons National Park and The Black Mountains. Shop and pub 2 miles.
