This magnificent listed Georgian property, a wing of the owner’s home dating back to 1790, is set in the idyllic village of Cradley and nestles at the foot of the Malvern Hills, an AONB. Guests can enjoy award-wining breakfast and evening meals in the wonderful dining room, available on prior request. There couldn’t be a more ideal base for those who wish to explore the many outstanding walks and places to visit in the surrounding area, including The Elgar Route, Spring Garden Show, Malvern Theatre, Worcestershire Way, Three Choirs Festival, Eastnor Castle, Three Counties Showground, The Severn Valley Railway, Bewdley and Ludlow. Also close by are Worcester, Hereford, Stratford-upon-Avon and of course Cheltenham, for day out at the races or excellent shopping. Great Malvern is a beautiful Victorian spa town that has an abundance of natural beauty and history. Iron-age builders of the British Camp, and then hundreds of years later, the founders of Malvern’s two medieval priories, enjoyed the waters that made Malvern a 19th-century spa, with the elegance to become a place of culture, attracting people like Sir Edward Elgar and George Bernard Shaw. Great Malvern town centre offers a fine choice of shops, restaurants and pubs. Close at hand is the Malvern Festival Theatre; a must for top quality theatre productions, concerts and cinema performances. The Malvern Splash Leisure Centre offers swimming and other health club facilities. Visit Manor Park for tennis, squash, racquet ball and bowls, or Worcestershire Golf Club can be found in Malvern Wells. Shop 1/2 mile, pub 1 mile.
