With Walcott, famous with the locals for great fish and chips, and a lovely beach, just up the road and lots more in the area to explore, you really will be spoilt for choice. Happisburgh offers a traditional lighthouse and museum, and Mundesley, Cromer and Sheringham also offer lots of seaside attractions and a range of sand and pebble beaches. There are lots of places to eat nearby, many serving local produce, and Cromer crab is certainly a treat not to be missed. Whilst visiting Cromer, don’t miss the splendid pier and famous end of pier show, or take a trip to Amazonia Zoo. The Norfolk Broads are also close by, where you can hire a day boat or join a picturesque cruise to spot wildlife. Great Yarmouth is worth a day trip, as is the medieval city of Norwich, with its Norman castle, museums, shops, restaurants and a bustling market.
