Nestled down a quiet country lane in the small hamlet village of Letterston, this detached, traditional Pembrokeshire longhouse has retained much of its original charm and character, making it a perfect central base for a family or group looking to discover the spectacular rugged Pembrokeshire coastline and Preseli Hills. Set on the owners’ working, organic farm, Meillion Cottage dates back to the 18th-century and has been sympathetically restored to uncover its original features including stone walls and exposed beams, whilst lots of welcoming touches have been added, including a traditional wood-burning stove for those cosy nights in. Each room has been tastefully decorated to a very good standard and disabled facilities have been added to provide comfort and relaxation for everyone. There is underfloor heating throughout the whole property. Guests can enjoy the lawned garden area with furniture, perfect for unwinding after a busy day exploring the nearby Preseli Hills with its picturesque walks and ancient monuments. Located just 5 miles away from the coast, the area abounds with fantastic walks along the iconic coastal path where guests can discover the charming villages of Solva and Porthgain, set within their tranquil fishing harbours and offering a collection of seafood restaurants and art galleries. Discover the historic city of St Davids, featuring the magnificent 12th-century cathedral and medieval ruins of the Bishop’s Palace, or for the more adventurous, take a sea safari expedition around the off shore island of Ramsey. The beaches of Newgale and Whitesands are within easy reach and are renowned for surf and water sport activities. Tenby is just a 40-minute drive away with its thrilling leisure attractions, including Oakwood, Folly Farm and Manor House Wildlife Park. Golf and horse riding nearby. Beach 5 miles. Shop and pub 500 yards.

Large, beamed open-plan living/dining room with wood-burning stove, kitchen area and tiled floors. Utility. Double bedroom with 5ft bed and en-suite wet room with toilet. Further double bedroom with 6ft zip & link bed, double sofa bed (for alternative sleeping only) and TV. Bathroom with over-bath shower and toilet. First floor: Galleried area. Bunk bedroom.
