This characterful and charming, Grade II listed, black-and-white holiday cottage nestles in the heart of the pretty medieval village of Eardisley. Offa’s Dyke and Mortimer’s Trail nearby, and the area is also popular for cycling, birdwatching, fishing and canoeing along the River Wye. The small town of Kington is just 5 miles, with Eastnor Castle and Hergest Croft Gardens. Hay-on-Wye is 7 miles, renowned for its literary festivals, and has an array of book shops, galleries, antique shops and many bars, restaurants and bistros. Eardisley itself has two great pubs, a village shop and post office and boasts a 12th-century Norman church. The cathedral city of Hereford is within easy driving, about 14 miles. Shop and pub 500 yards, restaurant 5 miles.
