Nestled in a scenic wooded valley in the charming hamlet of Dinas, this traditional Welsh barn conversion, adjacent to the owners’ home, is situated in 10 acres of matured grounds where wild flourishes and flowers blossom. The former barn dating back to the mid 18th century, has been carefully restored to uncover much of its original charm and character, including exposed Welsh oak beams and stone walls, with lots of welcoming touches added to provide couples with the perfect romantic retreat whatever the occasion. The open-plan living area is featured on the first floor which allows guests the freedom to snuggle up on the sofa next to the cosy wood-burning stove or on a warm summers evening, sit back and relax on the private balcony and watch the sun set over the picturesque countryside. Outside, the rugged woodland offers peace and tranquillity in abundance, where you can enjoy scenic walks along the glistening stream which leads into the village. Conveniently located on the borders of Pembrokeshire and Carmarthenshire, the area abounds with fantastic walks and historic sites dotted around the county, including the ancient burial chamber of Pentre Ifan Dolmen tucked away peacefully in the Preseli Hills and the majestic sites of Cardigan, Cilgerran and Carew castles. The traditional market towns of Newcastle Emlyn, Carmarthen and Cardigan are within easy reach. The iconic coastline of Pembrokeshire is within easy reach and features the picturesque coastal resorts of Newport and St Davids, as is the heritage coastline of Cardigan Bay which is famously renowned for spotting grey seals and bottlenose dolphins on a clear day! The historic town of Laugharne is just a short drive away and is famous for birthplace of the late Welsh poet Dylan Thomas, which features his iconic boat house and historic castle lying peacefully on the edge of the River Taf. Shop 7 miles, pub and restaurant 1/2 mile.

Double bedroom. Separate toilet. First floor: Large, beamed open-plan living/dining room with wood-burning stove and French doors to balcony/small, galley-style kitchen with wooden floors. Shower room with toilet.
