Hideaway Lodge offers complete seclusion within 36 acres of English Heritage woodland on the Bigland Hall Caravan Park country estate. Boasting two bedrooms, one with en-suite, outdoor decking with furniture and ample parking for two cars, it offers spacious accommodation for families. The owners conveniently live in the grounds of the caravan park, should you require anything. Surrounded by rocky outcrops and mature woodland, the lodge is a sanctuary of peace and tranquillity. It is the perfect spring board for exploring the whole of the Lake District and is within twenty minutes drive of Windermere, Coniston, the underrated Ulverston, and the entire Cartmel Peninsula. You can enjoy woodland walks, strolls along the beach or adventures on the fells. Travel into Coniston to visit the copper mines or hike up the Old Man of Coniston which has stunning views in all directions, you can even see the Isle of Man on a clear day!
