Built in the mid 1800’s, this period Norfolk stone, semi-detached, holiday cottage enjoys an excellent position on Beeston Common and has a wide, level lane nearby that offers a short walk to the sea. Situated just outside the popular market town of Sheringham, Beeston Common is an ideal base for your holiday as there is so much to do in the area that it really is difficult to know where to start. Sheringham’s pretty shingle beach offers the opportunity to view sunrise and sunset, a unique feature for this part of the coast. Sheringham Park is a must and offers a landscape park and woodland garden with miles of stunning coastal views and ample wildlife spotting opportunities. Attractions such as the North Norfolk Steam Railway and the Shire Horse Centre are also close by so you may be tempted to stay in and around Sheringham. But, should you decide to venture further afield, just along the coast lies the coastal town of Cromer with its wide sandy beach, Edwardian promenade, traditional seaside attractions, Amazonia Zoo and famous pier with its end of pier show. Also nearby, The Thursford collection offers year round entertainment including its acclaimed Christmas Spectacular show. Numerous NT properties and stately homes such as Blickling Hall, Holkham Hall and Sandringham are all within reach and nearby Cley Marshes, owned by the Norfolk Wildlife Trust is Norfolk Wildlife Trust’s oldest and best known nature reserve and is perfect for bird watching. With a Coast Hopper bus service that stops at the end of the road and regular rail links to Cromer, Wroxham and the Broads, and the medieval city of Norwich with its magnificent Norman castle and numerous museums, you can leave your car at home and still enjoy a great day, or evening out. Then, you can look forward to returning to charming Flint Cottage to put your feet up and plan just what you are going to do next. Beach ½ mile. Shop, pub and restaurant ¼ mile.
