Coopers Yard House is an architect-designed, three storey detached holiday home set in a medieval alley in the centre of the historic market town of Kington. Furnished to a very good standard, offering contemporary open plan living, with wood burning stove, for cosy evenings after wonderful days out exploring the local areas. Kington itself offers independent little shops selling superb food and curiosities and real ale pubs. Nearby is a luxury health suite and just outside the town you may enjoy the Michelin starred Stagg Inn, for fine food. Take in a round of golf at the highest golf course in England or visit the famous Hergest Croft Gardens. Kington is perfectly located for exploring the beautiful Welsh Marches, where the landscape of lush pastures, orchards and chocolate box villages of Herefordshire abruptly meets the rugged Welsh border hills. Great days of walking will be found along Offa’s Dyke and the Mortimer Trail, also fabulous cycling area. Further afield Hay on Wye and the Brecon Beacons National Park is approx 15 miles by road, the magnificent scenery of the Elan Valley and the Cambrian mountains will be found in approx 25 miles and Ludlow also within 25 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 200 yards.
