Perfectly peaceful and nestled away in the Shropshire countryside, Clee Hill Cottage is the ideal holiday location for guests who enjoy walking, cycling and really exploring the local landscape. With fabulous views over Clee Hill, Tenbury Wells and the Welsh Marches, guests will find themselves in awe of the landscape surrounding this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Perfect for walkers, the Shropshire Way footpath can be easily found and offers breathtaking views and scenery along the way. Only 8 miles away and perfect for families is the historic town of Ludlow. Ludlow dates back to around 1086 when Ludlow Castle was erected and the medieval town walls were built soon after. There is an abundance of history surrounding the town and this should interest guests of all ages. Very well known to food lovers too, Ludlow has gained a reputation for being a sought after place to eat with many excellent quality restaurants and bistros in the town. Also famous for the Ludlow Food and Drink Festival held every year in September, guests will be able to visit and sample top quality local produce and Michelin starred cuisine. A little further afield but still within easy driving distance, guests will be able to visit Tenbury Wells, Leominster, Bridgnorth, Bewdley, Ironbridge and Stokesay Castle.
