Enjoying a peaceful location in a secluded valley, yet within easy reach of the coast, this charming, Grade II listed, Tudor farmhouse is set in 22 acres of grounds, which include a hard tennis court, ancient bluebell woodland, as well as streams, ponds and a small lake. Tastefully furnished and equipped, it is just 3 miles from the attractive village of Harbertonford, with general store and pub. An adjacent converted coach house is very occasionally used by the owners. The sandy beach at Blackpool Sands is just 15 miles away, whilst picturesque Totnes (8 miles) offers town amenities including a sports centre, ancient castle ruins, art galleries and river trips to Dartmouth. For walkers, both the Dartmoor National Park and the South Devon Coastal Path are within easy touring distance. Dartmouth (12 miles) is an interesting town full of narrow streets and fine historic buildings housing a variety of shops, excellent restaurants and inns; there is also a yachting marina. The
225-acre Dartmouth Golf and Country Club features an 18-hole championship course, together with a health and leisure club. Sandy beaches, riding, a children’s leisure park, Dartington Hall and many good pub/restaurants can all be found within 10 miles. Shop/P.O. 3 miles.
