This gem of a holiday home lies hidden in the heart of the Staffordshire Moorlands on Rudyard Lake. You will be surprised when you enter as to what awaits you at the rear of the property. Windycote has a very large decked terrace area which overlooks the lake, but is magically hidden by the woodlands where you can enjoy the peaceful surroundings whilst sitting out on the furniture watching the world go by - a lovely place in which to sit, relax and enjoy the abundance of wildlife activity. This detached holiday property has been tastefully decorated and enjoys a large conservatory which also looks out to the lake. It has a spacious, well-equipped kitchen, along with a dining area, living room, snug area and two bedrooms. Rudyard Lake Visitor Centre is within walking distance with its tearoom, pleasure boat and small passenger steam train. These sit alongside a hotel, which offers bar meals as well as fabulous views of the lake and hills beyond. Further afield is the charming town of Leek with its many antique shops, pubs and restaurants surrounded by beautiful moorland. Many attractions within the Staffordshire Moorlands are close, including Alton Towers and the Peak District. Shops, pubs and restaurants 21/2 miles.
