Trean Apartment is a bright, spacious and comfortable holiday property located on a working croft. Situated in the crofting township of Linicro, the area is linked to the historic legend of Prince Charlie and Flora MacDonald, as they landed on the headland when Prince Charlie was fleeing from government troops. Flora MacDonald is buried in Kilmuir cemetery beside the Museum of Island Life, a short distance from Trean Apartment. The dramatic landscape of the Quiraing is excellent for hillwalking and the Staffin Museum is a must, as it contains an excellent collection of local geological and fossil specimens. The village of Uig is a short drive, where you will find restaurants, a local brewery and pottery centre. It is also the main ferry terminal for travelling to the Isle of Harris, Isle of Lewis and the Uists. The Faerie Glen is an excellent place to take children, the glen’s geological formations are most fascinating. Portree, the island’s capital, is only 20 minute’s drive away, where you will find restaurants, gift shops, a swimming pool, climbing wall and boat trips. There is so much to discover throughout the island so what are you waiting for? Come and be amazed by the dramatic scenery and seascapes.
