Scavaig View is a spacious and well appointed holiday home offering an ideal base for a family getaway – set in its own grounds with views over the Cuillin Mountains and the surrounding countryside. You can enjoy the boat trip to Loch Coruisk (freshwater loch in the heart of the Cuillin) and neighbouring small islands, which sets off from the pier at Elgol, a short distance from the cottage. Both sea and loch fishing is available (permit required) on Loch Scavaig, surely one of the most spectacular fishing venues in the whole of Scotland.

The area has so much to offer any outdoor enthusiast with some fabulous walking and climbing. A visit to the Spar Cave is worth the effort as it is considered one of the great wonders of Scotland. Eagles are frequently seen in this area, resident hares, red deer, otters and so much more in the way of wildlife. It is a good base to explore all parts of the island which has so much to offer from fishing and boat trips to kayaking and pony trekking, as well as the opportunity to discover the many craft and art galleries for a more relaxing time and to be awestruck by the dramatic scenery. So come and enjoy...
