Superb highland setting with panoramic views

Situated in an idyllic location with direct access to the Caledonian Canal and stunning views of Ben Nevis and Aonoch Mor mountain range, these detached lodges (refs W8146 and W8664) make an ideal holiday base for touring the Highlands and the west coast of Scotland. Fort William is known as the ’outdoor capital’, and is homee to the World Mountain Bike Championships, Excellent climbing, skiing, snowboarding, mountain biking and walking are popular outdoor pursuits. Golf fishing, kayaking and sailing are also available nearby. The area is famous for its breath-taking scenery, used as a backdrop in many film, including Braveheart, Rob Roy and the Harry Potter movies. Many of the islands including Mull and Iona can be reached by short ferry crossings and the steam train to Mallaig makes for a great day out. Wildlife is abundant with golden eagles, porpoises, red deer, otters and pine martens often spotted. There are many historic castles, monuments, sandy beaches, gardens and museums to explore. Visit the magical Isle of Skye, Inverness, the capital of the Highlands, Loch Ness, Glencoe or the bustling harbour town of Oban. Shop 2 miles, pub and restaurant 1 mile.
